It's been awhile

A new start.

I can't believe that it has been a year plus since I last blogged. I am completely clueless about whatever that is happening right now on this blogsphere or how does blogspot even function now. I mean just look at the picture above, I snapped it with my DSLR but the entire picture quality just seem to have shrunk down by so much. I guess I am going to start everything from scratch once again.

Good news is, I finally got myself my very first personal laptop which is a MacBook Pro and I certainly hope that it would motivate me to start blogging again. Hopefully once I start learning how to fully operate this complicated gadget (I'm really a tech idiot), things would be easier for me.

For now, I guess my blog posts would be filled with mostly words - until I start taking more pictures and editing them. The photos that I am posting on my blogs are mostly going to be snapped by my DSLR, talking about that again… (crying emoji). I only started using it again a few months back and guess what, the camera has fungus growing in it, I almost had an emotional break down.. So my pictures now tend to look very dirt, which isn't exactly great or helpful. I am hoping that I would be able to save up enough so I can get it fixed before it's way too late. Sigh!!!

So anyway a year ago, I did a mini update on what's going on in my life. I really can't believe that so much has happened between these 12 months. So, let's do another update shall we?

If you haven't already know, I graduated from my secondary school two years ago. I was then, aimless and I did not further my studies due to my horrible O level cert. No, it's really that bad I could burn and drink it up.

I got myself a part time job at this humble cafe as my interests in coffee grew stronger and stronger. I'm so so glad to have joined this team, they are a bunch of amazing people. Things were tough at the start, not to mention that I cut myself with a glass on my first shift and I had to head to A&E for stitching. Well, at least I get to tell people that my first day of work wasn't boring.

I went on a hiatus from work for awhile, reflected on what I really want and then I got back - boom, a 180 degree change in performances and adaptation (that's what my manager told me apparently hahaha). Things got easier, a lot more fun, interesting stuff happened and friendships were formed. It's really rare to have such bond in a workplace, really. I grew and learnt so so much from these people, life skills or what not.

In a blink of an eye, one year has passed by. Earlier this year, I applied for an entry to Lasalle. Of course, due to my academic results, it was a struggle to get in. I went through high hopes, disappointment and doubts then one day I woke up, scrolling through my mails and I saw an Email from them.

Yupp, I was asked down for a portfolio interview. Things went pretty smoothly and I got accepted in, now I just gotta start filling up some complicated online details before school starts on August. I look forward to this new adventure and I certainly hope things would turn out great for me and if I ever have the slightest thought of giving up -  I would look back and think why I even started off.

It's nice be blogging and I am very thankful for those who've been motivating me to start it again, I can't wait to share more things with you guys and I hope you'd stick by me through my humble blog and journey. Though I know that I've lost tons of readers through my hiatus but well a blog isn't all about for the fame and attention isn't it? It's pretty nice documenting my progress here.
